The ring around a company stamp used to be a plain circle. Now it's a design choice. You can style the outer ring and the inner ring independently, choosing from nine edge styles and tuning how dense and how thick each one is. The nine border styles

Each ring — outer and inner — offers the same nine options:

  • Plain circle — a clean, solid ring. The classic, most official look.
  • Zigzag line — a continuous zig-zag for a lively, technical edge.
  • Wave line — soft rolling waves; friendly and modern.
  • Semicircle scallop — repeating scallops, like a traditional wax seal.
  • Dotted line — evenly spaced dots for a light, delicate ring.
  • Dot-dash line — alternating dots and dashes, a distinctive rhythm.
  • Triangles — sun-ray points radiating around the ring.
  • Flower petals — rounded petal lobes for a decorative, botanical frame.
  • None — hide a ring entirely for a minimal, open design.

Mix the outer and inner rings

Because the two rings are set separately, you can combine them. A wave outer with a zigzag inner reads energetic; a plain outer with a dotted inner stays formal but adds a subtle detail. Set the inner ring to None for a single-line seal, or keep both for a fuller frame around your name and registration number.

Density and thickness

For every patterned style (zigzag, wave, scallop, dotted, dot-dash, triangles, flower) you get two controls:

  • Density — how many repeats travel around the ring. Fewer, larger shapes look bold; more, smaller shapes look fine and intricate.
  • Border size / thickness — how heavy the line or shapes are drawn. A thin plain ring feels elegant; a thick one feels like a rubber chop.

There's also an inner-ring diameter control, so you can pull the inner ring in or push it out to give the curved company name more or less room.

Plain for formal, decorative for personal

If the stamp represents a company on invoices and letters, a plain or double-ring border keeps it clean and businesslike. If you're making a personal or brand seal, the scallop, flower or triangle styles add character. There's no wrong answer — the preview updates live, so try a few.
