One of the quickest ways to make a company stamp look more official is to add a second ring — a thin plain circle just inside the main border. It's the classic "double-ring seal" look you see on bank chops and formal company stamps, and it takes two clicks to add. Best of all it costs nothing extra to order.

What a double ring is

A double ring is simply your outer border with an extra plain circle drawn inside it, framing the curved company name between the two lines. It reads as neat, deliberate and formal — which is why it's a favourite for official company seals.

Turn it on

In the designer, tick Add inner double line. A second ring appears immediately inside the outer border. That's the whole feature — everything after this is fine-tuning.

Set the thickness and the gap

Two controls shape the second line:

  • Double line thickness ("DLine") — from a fine hairline up to a heavy stroke. A thin second line looks elegant; a thicker one looks like a bold rubber chop.
  • Double line gap ("DLGap") — how far the second line sits from the outer border, from flush (gap 0) to a clear channel between the two rings.

Nudge both while watching the live preview until the spacing looks balanced against your text.

Pair it with any border style

The double line works with all nine border styles. A plain outer ring with a double line gives the traditional bank-seal look; a patterned outer (wave, dotted, scallop) with a plain double line adds detail while keeping a formal frame. You can also style the inner border itself separately for a fuller design.

Leave room for the name

If the two rings crowd your company name, use the inner-ring diameter control to push the inner ring outward (more room) or pull it in (tighter frame). Combined with the name size and spacing, you can get the text sitting cleanly between the rings.

Try it

  1. Open the stamp generator and enter your details.
  2. Tick Add inner double line.
  3. Adjust the thickness and gap, and the inner diameter if needed.
  4. Download a free transparent PNG, or order it as a physical stamp (22mm recommended).

The double ring is reproduced exactly on a real rubber stamp, and it doesn't change the price — it's a free upgrade to a more formal look, with no watermark or sign-up on the download.
