A transparent PNG is perfect for digital documents, but to manufacture a physical stamp a maker needs a precise, true-size file. That is what the print-ready PDF is for.
What makes a file "print-ready"
- True size: the artwork is placed at the exact stamp diameter in millimetres.
- Single-colour artwork: the PDF renders the design in black — the master a die is cut from — regardless of your on-screen ink colour.
- Cut guide and crop marks: a dashed circle and corner marks show the trim and centre.
How you receive your print-ready PDF
The simplest and intended way is to order a physical stamp. When you do, we generate the true-size, print-ready PDF for you automatically, store it with your order, and email it to you along with your transparent PNG — no extra steps on your part.
You don't need to produce or handle the print file yourself. The on-screen "Unlock PDF" box is reserved for our own staff (it requires an internal access code that isn't issued to website visitors), so if you need the manufacturing file, placing an order is the way to get it.
Why true size matters

Just want the digital stamp?
If you only need an image for digital documents, you don't need the PDF at all — design your seal in the generator and download a free transparent PNG. Order a physical stamp only when you want the real chop (and the print-ready PDF emailed with it); most companies choose 26mm.
