You have just registered your company and the to-do list is long. A company stamp is a small item on it, but getting it right first time saves reprints later. Work through this checklist — each step links to a detailed guide.
Before you design
- Decide whether you need one. A company stamp is not legally required in Singapore, but most businesses use one for invoices and paperwork. Read is a company stamp mandatory.
- Know the difference from a common seal. They are not the same thing — see company stamp vs common seal.
- Gather your details. Your registered name exactly as on your ACRA business profile, and your UEN. See what to put on a company stamp.
Design it
- Pick a layout. Text only, with a logo, or a ready-made template — browse the templates or read adding a logo.
- Choose a size. 22mm suits most companies; longer names need more room. See the sizes guide.
- Choose an ink colour. Blue and black are the most common for business use — see the ink colours guide.
- Design and preview. Build it in the free generator, or upload your own design if you already have artwork.
Order and use it
- Download the digital stamp. Use the transparent PNG on invoices and PDFs — see where to use your company stamp.
- Order the physical stamp. Choose your size, quantity, delivery and payment method — the ordering guide walks you through it.
- Save your files. Keep the PNG and print-ready PDFs from your order email so you can reorder the same stamp later — see what you receive.
- Set simple rules. Decide who keeps the stamp, which documents it goes on, and who may use the digital version.
How long does it take?
Designing takes a few minutes. Delivery depends on the speed you choose at checkout, and your digital PNG is available as soon as the order is confirmed. If you need the stamp quickly — for a bank appointment, for example — read rush delivery and company stamps and bank accounts.
Two shortcuts help: you can design entirely on your phone, and share the design for approval with your fellow directors before ordering. For a more formal look, consider a double ring.
